Senior Developer

We’re recently funded and we’re looking for a Senior Developer to propel the company forward.

About you:

• You work well in a team environment
• You are a programmer because you love programming
• You like to complete tasks precisely and accurately
• You have an excellent command of written and spoken English
• You have brilliant coding skills – your friends and colleagues come to you for the best advice and you have worked on many successful projects
• You want to work for a company where your voice is heard and your suggestions get implemented
• You have excellent skills in: ASP.Net 3.5 and MVC, C#, JavaScript / JQuery, XML, Web Services, SQL Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008, a continuous integration environment
• You have a solid background of highly transactional websites, public websites, enterprise level applications, localisation, profiling and analysing data to produce trends
• You understand the power of Web 2.0 and how it can be leveraged
• You might have experience of Collective Intelligence, Subversion, NHibernate, RESTful APIs, a queuing technology such as MSMQ, Lucene, cloud computing and an Agile environment
• You might write a blog, have participated in an open source project, or are active in the .Net development community.
• You have a valid EU work visa

About the job

You would be working with a small growing team that is critical to the success of GigJunkie. You
would be based in our offices close to Tate Modern and Borough Market. You would be working
closely with the CTO in the development of GigJunkie, using some of the latest technologies. You
will be architecting the core API, enhancing the integration framework, and developing rich web UIs.
