Brooklyn indie-pop group Friends have announced a special album launch show, happening a mere two days after its release. The show will take place at London’s Dingwalls venue on June 6th and will showcase tracks from the much-anticipated debut ‘Manifest!’

A recent press release has confirmed, “‘Manifest!’ aims both to live up to and to defy the promise of early singles… ‘Va Fan Gor Du’ is a rowdy, swear-y rebuke to the come-ons of passenger-side hanging scrubs (and a longstanding set-closing live killer). ‘Sorry’ floats in on a breezy rush of instantly familiar tropical pop. ‘A Thing Like This’ is gorgeous and groovy, a love letter to a bygone era when they used to write ‘em like that all the time. ‘Ideas On Ghosts’ gets all existential up in the party whilst ‘Ruins’ is art school minimalism – angular guitars, Burundi breakdowns, primal yelps – and it shouldn’t sound this sexy or this catchy.”

Having sold out their Scala gig earlier this week, expect tickets for this to be snapped up just as quickly.

Tickets are available via clicking here.
