So the GigJunkie office decamped to Worthy Farm in Pilton for a week of revelry, and what a week it was! Team GigJunkie and a load of our Glastonbury friends put together a massive camp and tightened our chin straps. A couple of us took the train down and were entertrained the whole way down by the guys behind us...
Wednesday was set up and football, Thursday was a hat party for one of our esteemed guests 60th birthday and the music/chaos started on Friday.
Just the most amazing 5 days on the farm. My highlights were The Magic Numbers, who I saw twice on the Friday, they were a wee bit drunk for the second set and were clearly enjoying the festival! Corinne Bailey Rae gave one of the most beautiful performances I have ever seen and the whole crowd fell in love with her. The Phenomenal Hand Clap Band were phe... Stornoway were brilliant as ever. MUSE WERE EPIC! Stevie Wonder gave us all the hits, some laughs and a celebration of life, love, peace and Glastonbury.
The following videos were made by the good DR. and give you a real feel for the weekend. Enjoy and see you there in 20!!
