Line-Up For Scotland's Wizard Festival Announced

Made up of three stages, over 50 acts appear at Wizard Festival on 27 and 28 August in the NE of Scotland.

This is the festivals fourth year and the artists confirmed to date, include Friday's headliners James, The Happy Mondays, legendary Brixton collective Alabama 3, The Complete Stone Roses, Isle of Skye's Celtic masters The Peatbog Faeries, Pearl and the Puppets, top DJ's Slam, Sandie Thom ....and many more to be confirmed.

 

Held in the beautiful setting of the New Deer Showground, just outside the ancient village of New Deer, Aberdeenshire, (approx 30 miles from Aberdeen)  and has attracted thousands of music fans from across Scotland and the UK.

Wizard is a family friendly event with no upper or lower age limit. The festival organises and runs a full two day children’s programme and there is a dedicated arena, Wee Wizards, where families and young people can get involved in creative and musical activities and workshops.

For the first time ever a Happy Bus will be running return coaches from Aberdeen city centre each day and this will also bring festival goers from various regions across Scotland too with pick-ups from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Dundee, Peterhead, Dunfermline, Mintlaw and Ellon.

Camping and car parking are included in the price of the weekend ticket, with a dedicated caravan and campervan area as well as a quiet camping area for families.
