So I was lucky enough to get my mitts on some tickets to the Brits this year, and I decided to do a blog with all the happenings :) Here's the highlights!

8pm - Lily Allen takes to the stage, in a rocket, looking as if she's a character from Thunderbirds. She performs 'The Fear', hooray.
8.05pm - The winner for Best BRITs Performance of 30th is the Spice Girls! Mel B and Geri Halliwell take to the stage to accept the award!
8.09pm - Dizzee Rascal's won the Best Male Solo Artist award; good on him!
8.11pm - JLS take to the stage, to perform 'Beat Again'. The entire stage is black, except for lasers, flashing vertically. Impressive much?

8.20pm - Jay-Z's won the best International Male Solo Artist - dressed in a suit, complete with waistcoat, he thanks 'all the people at Glastonbury, and the Spice Girls'.
8.25pm - Oasis win the BRITs album of 30 years, for 'What's The Story, Morning Glory. Liam takes to the stage, with his speech consisting of: 'I wanna thank the best fans in the f*cking world, live forever' Liam then throws his award, and his microphone into the crowd. Nice to know he cares for his band.
8.27pm - Kasabian are performing 'Fire' now, with real fire on stage, and a full trumpet section. It's never sounded so good.
8.38pm - JLS have won Best Breakthrough Act. I feel ashamed.
8.42pm - A very timid Ellie Goulding wins the Critics Choice award

8.44pm - Lady Gaga's dedicated her performance to the late Alexander McQueen. She plays new song 'Dance In The Dark', and blows the crowd away.
8.55pm - Kasabian are now the Best British Group! Lead singer Tom says 'you cannot make an omelette without breaking some eggs'. Good work.
8.59pm - Lady Gaga's won the International Breakthrough Act award, and accepts the award with an almost tearful speech. 'Thankyou Lee McQueen'.
9.01pm - The performance of the year has just begun. Florence. Dizzee. You've Got The Dirtee Love. INCREDIBLE. Florence appears from the back of a glitterball. That is how it's DONE.

9.11pm - Lady Gaga's won her second award! This time for International Female Solo Artist. She picks it up, with her cup of tea. NIce.
9.14pm - Lily Allen, complete with orange wig, has won Best British Solo Female. She accepts her award with a very giggly speech, in typical Lily fashion.
9.17pm - Performing one of the biggest songs of the last 12 months, Jay-Z and Alicia Keys are performing Empire State Of Mind. Incredible performance.
9:28pm - Lady Gaga's won her THIRD award! This time for best International Album. And for good reason; it's incredible. She's practically speechless.
9.31pm - Cheryl Cole's performing 'Fight FOr This Love'. Bloody impressive entrance, and performance. Even if she was miming for the whole thing..
9.37pm - JLS have won the Best British Single. Is it really that good?
9.41pm - Florence has won the Best British Album. She's extremely excited, and good on her. Hooray
9.48pm - Robbie's now onto his extended performance. He plays Bodies, Let Me Entertain You, Feel, Supreme, Millennium, Come Undone, Morning Sun, You Know Me, No Regrets, Angels, Everything Changes But You (Take That cover), Rock DJ. He completely blew the crowd away, amazing.

So, a brilliant night was had, with the big winners being Lady Gaga, Lily Allen and JLS, and some astonishing performances from Gaga, and Robbie Williams. Bring on the Brits 2011!

Oh, and here's a few videos of the performances if you want to watch them again...
