Just Me is the new single from Music Go Music, released through Mercury / Secretly Canadian on November 9th 2009.

Music Go Music make pop music, in every sense; Chinn & Chapman-esque swathes of pitch-perfect-pop, ELO-like flights of musical fantasy, the theatrics of prime-period Meatloaf, and the tragic wistfulness of The Carpenters all played out in a world of tragic redemption.

And in just over four minutes Just Me captures the essence of Music Go Music perfectly – bubblegum melodies produced by Stockholm hit-factories set to a Spector beat.

The members of Music Go Music met at a party in the home of a man who was, at that time, called “The Condor.” Over the rager’s din they made a connection, mild at first, but one that fermented for a couple of weeks until Torg invited Kamer Maza and Gala Bell over to make a song together.

They met several days later and, in the space of an hour, the first Music Go Music song was written. They recorded it over the next few days and went their separate ways, but reconvened enough times over the course of the following year-and-a-half to record eight more songs, all of which can be found on their debut album, Expressions, which will be released in early 2010.
