If you’re like me, chances are that you have already spent this month’s paycheck in the first few days… If this is the case and you’re a Stereophonics‘ fan, prepare to kick yourself. Hard.

Yesterday the band announced a “VERY special one-off afternoon show” to be held at Cardiff Castle on October 3rd. Stereophonics are going to preview some of their new songs from their 7th studio album ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ (release date – 16th November 2009), as well as their old classics.

For those old enough to remember, the band first headlined Cardiff Castle back in 1998 to over 10,000 people. Luckily for us, the price is going to be the same as it was in ‘98, whilst hopefully the dreadful fashion of the 90s (think Adidas popper trackies) is going to stay a thing of the past.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (9th September) at 9am with the rather lovely price of £12.50 (+ bkg fee). Tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis – so you best book yours with GigJunkie fast.
