Bloom Festival 2009 Announces its Biggest Ever Line Up

Bloom festival are ecstatic to announce their first wave of show-stopping headline acts. Esser, Noah and the Whale, Tom Middleton, The Filthy Dukes, Loose Cannons, The Whip and Part Time Heroes all make it on to the strongest line up ever to grace Bloom festival’s beautiful stages!

Bloom is ‘the ultimate house party in a field’, it's an exciting fusion of up-and-coming and established acts, blending music from a plethora of genres including electro, house, hip hop, funk, drum 'n' bass and anything else you can raise a warm can of Strongbow to. With its biggest and best line-up to date, this year’s event is shaping up as one to remember. Now in its fourth year Bloom has grown from a modest 1,500 capacity party with 2 tents to a fully-fledged boutique extravaganza with six brimming stages. In the spirit of getting more bands for your buck, organisers have introduced a further four arenas and are selling weekend tickets for a mere £75 – one of the cheapest festival tickets available this year!
These include The Folk Stage - run by the guys behind the famous folk night Communion, The Media Mix Tent - showcasing short films, audio-visual performances, live scores, classical music and performance artists, The Groove Garden -including garden gnomes, garden games, garden tunes and The Bloom Bus - a converted, lush DJ bus!
Last year’s popular stages will also be running in full effect, including The Main Stage, Beats Bubble - drum & bass, breaks, dubstep, booty bass, Lost Disco - house & electro, Funk Tent -funk, hip hop, soul, disco and the Cabaret Tent - burlesque, cabaret, bingo and lots of random and saucy fun!.
And if that doesn’t whet your voracious appetite they’ve even introduced a Workshop tent including knitting, burlesque strip tease, kung fu, tai chi, mask making, recyclable art and flamenco classes, The Diary Bloom - a video diary shed! and Kids Zone - a dedicated area for kids including activities and games and a library corner.
Set in stunning grounds in West Littletown Down, near Bristol, Bloom hand picks healthy and organic food and drink to perfectly suit the scenic surroundings and chilled out vibe that this fresh faced boutique festival exudes.
