Bio
1. The Aliens are a psychedelic/alternative rock band which formed in Fife, Scotland in 2004. They consist of Gordon "Lone Pigeon" Anderson (vocals, guitar), John Maclean (keyboards, vocals) and Robin Jones (drums). All are former members of the group The Beta Band, though Anderson left the group early in their career. The band released their debut album, "Astronomy for Dogs" on March 19, 2007 (accompanied by the single "Setting Sun"), and a second record, "Luna" on September 29, 2008.
In spring of 2008, the band canceled all of their shows (excluding festival performances) due to the ill health of Gordon Anderson. He had become "acutely psychotic" during the recording of "Luna", but has now fully recovered.

I had heard lots of good things about Lounge on the Farm and they were all true.
Well organised and in a lovely setting and with the weather holding out we were set up for a great time.
Spent the afternoon chilling and dancing around the Hoe Down tent and in the bar where they had a range of DJ's dropping some fantastic funk and northern soul.
Early evening went to see 6 Day Riot who were brilliant! Lead singer has a great voice and the band are really tight!
All week I had been looking forward to seeing Danny & The Champions of the World who were headlining the Folk Tent. They did not disappoint! Less Champs then the last time I saw them, but still a real treat.
Very much looking forward to Lounge on the Farm 2010!
